Zone Of Uncomfortable Debate (the ZOUD) with other people. This masterclass focuses on the conversations and communication of complex or hard to resolve business issues, whether they involve a team a business unit or an individual. Often when we ‘have to’ do this, the stakes may be high, emotions raised, personal opinions differ and strong personalities are involved. The ZOUD is that area of discussion where things start to feel uncomfortable. You come across it in coaching sessions, board meetings, appraisals, project teams – in fact, pretty much any business situation, which involves a degree of change or conflict.
